About The Position
Aspire Bakeries is seeking a General Labor – Packaging Support team member for its Santa Ana, California bakery. The role assists the Packaging Lead with product packaging, quality monitoring, and compliance with food safety standards. The position is on the second shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and requires weekend availability. The hourly pay range is $19.00–$21.00. No prior experience is required. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and elementary-level English literacy is required. GMP/HACCP certification is provided in-house.

Responsibilities
- Monitor product quality before clamshell or case packaging.
- Ensure clamshells are properly closed before packing them into cases.
- Report product anomalies or issues to the Lead.
- Remove out-of-spec products from the line.
- Monitor packaging equipment for proper operation and accurate speeds, and report repair issues.
- Properly discard scrap product by separating clamshells or trays from finished product.
- Assist with packaging rework as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
