About The Position

Working in C&D recycling is hands-on, physical work that plays an important role in keeping reusable materials out of landfills and helping our communities recycle more efficiently. This position does not require previous recycling experience. A candidate’s ability to follow directions, work safely, maintain reliable attendance, and perform the essential functions of the job will determine whether we consider moving forward in candidacy for a present or future full-time position. Our candidate selection process is based on specific criteria designed to foster a safe, positive, and efficient workforce.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age or older.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed, and stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work throughout the entire shift.
Comfortable working around construction and demolition materials, including wood, drywall, concrete, metal, cardboard, and other recyclable materials.
Willing to consent to a background check.
Willing to consent to a drug screen.
Have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
Ability to follow directions, work safely, maintain reliable attendance, and perform the essential functions of the job.

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse, construction, recycling, general labor, or material-sorting experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Safely sort, separate, move, and organize recyclable materials according to facility procedures.
Work in a fast-paced industrial environment and follow all safety procedures and instructions.
