About The Position

This is a general labor position with opportunities in 5 different departments, including both cold and hot environments. The role involves various tasks related to food production, from measuring ingredients and cooking to packaging and shipping. **Cook Room:** Measures ingredients according to formula for cooking purposes. Reads daily production schedules and selects formula specifications for desired batches. Weights dry ingredients on scales and pours liquid ingredients into graduated containers. **Warehouse:** Assists in daily warehouse and shipping areas, including filling and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing it, filling work orders from production, packaging assemblies, and receiving into finished goods. Ensures inventory transactions are accurately logged and oversees cycle counts and reconciliation activities. **Flauta Department:** Picks up 5lb. bags of raw chicken and fills containers. Transfers tortillas onto machine plates to be filled with chicken filling. Ensures enough tortillas are available for the loader. Inspects flautas for correct rolling before the freezing process and packages them for distribution. **Grind Department:** Lifts large bowls of meat and places them into the grinder. **Raw Department:** Inspects and reassembles equipment sanitized the previous night. Brings cases of meat, up to 80 lbs, from the cooler and empties contents onto meat cutting or other preparation areas. Cuts and trims meat to customer specifications using knives and wizard knives, and operates tenderizing machines. Follows food safety and safety security procedures. Cleans and sanitizes the area throughout the day. Performs duties to comply with health code, such as sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures. Follows all Sanitation Standards Operating Procedures (SSOPs). Marinates food.
