About The Position

This is an entry-level position where you will be trained on the skills needed to grow into new roles or departments. In this role, you will assist with daily plant operation and maintenance. If you have the drive, we will help you reach your goals. The wage is $18.00+/hr with potential for overtime.

Requirements

A strong desire to grow, and the willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks and equipment.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently without direct supervision and has a positive attitude.
Safety minded professional.
Demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
Demonstrates the ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment safely and efficiently within its designed parameters.
Clean working areas around plant.
Shovel excess materials from around conveyors and other areas generating frequent build up.
Operate skid steer.
Perform general clean-up and maintenance (i.e. oiling, greasing plant equipment) duties as assigned.
Assist other departments with maintenance, operations, and/or other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material.
Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
Regular and timely attendance.
Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
