About The Position

Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A) is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined General Laborer to join our Bearings, Seals & Hydraulics Division. This role supports various manufacturing and repair operations within the shop, including casting, deburring, cleaning components, material handling, and assisting production teams as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience using air-powered hand tools in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing, foundry, machine shop, warehouse, or industrial labor experience.
Experience operating overhead cranes or forklifts.
Recent graduate of a vocational or technical training program.

Responsibilities

Assist with casting, deburring, and cleaning of components.
Operate hand-held pneumatic tools, including die grinders, impact wrenches, and needle scalers.
Load and unload materials, parts, and equipment.
Support machine operators and skilled trades personnel as directed.
Operate industrial equipment such as overhead cranes, lift trucks, furnaces, and metal processing equipment.
Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with production-related tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support various departments throughout the facility as business needs require.
