About The Position

We are seeking Temporary Turn Help to support our community during a busy turn period. This role will assist with a variety of tasks related to the make-ready process and preparation of new move-ins under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. It is a great opportunity for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in getting units move-in ready, and is willing to support the team where needed.

Requirements

  • Willingness and desire to learn.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, carry, push, and pull for an extended periods of time
  • Able to be an effective team player and interact well with others
  • Patient, even-tempered and works well under pressure
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to follow directions from a supervisor
  • Able to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures
  • Able to accept constructive criticism
  • Able to climb and work from ladders and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads
  • Able to work weekends or overtime as the job requires

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
  • Office organization and administrative work
  • Responsible for daily clean- up of the exterior of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas
  • Participate in unit inspections as requested
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager – including painting, fixing, building, reading directions, sorting, and other miscellaneous activities
  • Providing excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors.
  • Reporting maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager for review.
  • Assisting in other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
