About The Position

Perform general labor duties in a poultry processing facility. Work in any processing department and on any available shift based on operational needs. Use scissors and knives to trim, cut, and process chicken products, while maintaining production standards on fast-moving processing lines. Follow safety, food safety, quality, and company policies, and perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations. The position requires physical work throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting products and materials as required by the assigned department. Work may take place on platforms approximately two feet above floor level, on potentially slippery surfaces, and in areas on multiple levels of the facility. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. This is a second-shift position. Applicants must complete every step of the application process, including outstanding candidate-profile tasks. Former Tyson team members must meet the stated rehire criteria: at least 180 calendar days must have passed since separation, and individuals who have worked for Tyson Foods three or more times are not eligible for rehire.

Requirements

Willingness and ability to use scissors and knives safely.
Ability to work at line speeds in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift.
Ability to work on platforms approximately two feet above floor level.
Ability to lift products and materials as required by the assigned department.
Willingness to work in cold, damp, hot, or humid environments.
Ability to work safely on potentially slippery surfaces.
Ability to climb stairs and work in areas located on multiple levels of the facility.
Flexibility to work in any processing department and on any available shift.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
