About The Position

This is a 2nd shift position with a core shift of Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime and Saturdays as needed. The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs. The employee is responsible for handling materials and candy, producing product, setting up, changing over, and running lines, and/or assisting packaging employees. They are also responsible for sanitation, quality, productivity, and safety in their area. The position requires overtime, mandated, and/or voluntary to meet peak demand, cover for absences, or handle urgent projects.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with no assistance
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, and keep up with the line speeds in a fast paced environment
• Ability to read and write English
• High school Diploma or GED
• Ensures compliance with SQF, and other relevant standards
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Dependable and flexible when work is required in other facets of production
• Promotes teamwork, possesses a good attitude, and exhibits flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed
• Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all Good Manufacturing Policies (GMPs)
• Assists anytime the line is in a scrap mode
• Assists in other facets of production as needed
• Work at different work stations as production needs require
• Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to safety methods
• Responsible for packaging of all finished goods
• Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns where applicable
