About The Position

Miscellaneous labor associates report to the production supervisor for the shift to which they are assigned. Miscellaneous labor associates also follow the direction of the equipment operator when they are assigned to a machine crew. This role involves following all safety rules and practices, performing assigned duties to ensure production needs are met, and assisting other associates as needed. The position requires accurate use of measurement tools, completion of time sheets and reports, and keeping the supervisor informed of any problems. Maintaining work areas and the general plant to high housekeeping standards is crucial, along with completing daily assignments from the Housekeeping Log in a timely manner. The role also includes learning to operate a fork truck under I.P. Requirements and maintaining teamwork with machine crews and other associates, in addition to performing other duties as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• Candidates must be able to and required to meet the following
• Recommended Status on AON Basic Operation Skills Assessment
• Prefer Minimum 6 Months experience in a manufacturing type environment
• Verifiable Stable Work History
• Read, Write, Speak English
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as, but not limited to, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and safety toe shoe

Responsibilities

• Following all safety rules and practices
• Performing assigned duties to insure that production needs are met
• Assisting other associates as needed
• Accurately using tape measures and other measurement and test equipment
• Accurately completing time sheets, reports, lists, and other records
• Keeping the supervisor informed of any problems and/or unusual situations
• Maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping
• Maintain general housekeeping throughout the plant
• Complete daily assignments/task, per Housekeeping Log in a timely manner
• Learn to operate a fork truck under I.P. Requirements
• Maintaining teamwork with machine crews and other associates
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervision
