About The Position

We are hiring for a General Labor - Meat Processing associate to help produce Duke's Meat Snacks at our Macomb, MI manufacturing facility. You will report to a Production Team Leader and join a team of 50. This is a 1st Shift position, paid weekly. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Tuesday, Thursday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with Saturdays as needed. The starting pay is $17.50 per hour with a $0.50 increase after 90 days.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures between 39°F and 44°F.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
• Work around moving equipment and machinery.
• Work in a cold production environment.
• Work overtime as needed to support business demands.

Responsibilities

• Work with raw materials as part of the Duke's Meat Snacks production process.
• Rotate through various production positions within the meat processing area.
• Weigh ingredients and prepare recipes for production.
• Operate meat grinding and processing equipment.
• Place raw products onto racks for cooking and further processing.
• Assist with equipment setup and teardown.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Support sanitation activities and help keep work areas clean.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
