General Labor - Log Yard
About The Position
The Baillie Group is a cohesive, unified group of hardwood producers working cooperatively together with each retaining their distinctive and valued cultural identities. Baillie Lumber in Covington Township, PA is looking to add a General Laborer to our concentration yard team. This is a full time OR part time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer. Baillie Lumber Co. is one of North America's largest hardwood lumber manufacturers, distributors and exporters. We are a provider of hardwood logs, hardwood lumber and proprietary grade hardwood lumber products.
Requirements
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated, organized and able to multi-task
- Great attitude
- Working knowledge of computers
- Handle professional email communications (Some admin work)
- Standing for long periods of time, bending and stooping
Nice To Haves
- Heavy equipment and chainsaw experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Involved in all steps of log manufacturing and sales including manual labor
- Considers and identifies production work flows and effectiveness
- Train and provide support to current log team members
