About The Position

This position could work in any position of the Processing or Harvest departments. The role requires the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds and standing 8-10 hours a day. Work environments involve exposure to meat products, including blood, fat, bones, and hair. Processing involves working in extreme cold and wet conditions (33-49 degrees Fahrenheit) and may require the use of knives, hooks, or powered equipment for deboning, trimming, or packaging. Harvest involves working in extreme hot, wet, and humid conditions (80-100 degrees Fahrenheit) and may require the use of knives, hooks, or powered equipment for hide removal, trimming, or operating heavy equipment. The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training and perform any other duties as assigned. All job offers are contingent upon the candidate providing proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and passing a urinalysis screening as part of a post-offer health assessment. This position is not accepting rehires.

Requirements

Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand 8-10 hours a day.
Willingness to work around meat environment such as blood, fat, bones, hair, and any other meat or cattle product.
Willingness to work in extreme cold and wet environments (33-49 degrees Fahrenheit) in the Processing department.
Willingness to work in extreme hot, wet, and humid environments (80-100 degrees Fahrenheit) in the Harvest department.
Ability to perform position tasks.
Available to work A Shift 5:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday including Saturdays.
Available for overtime.
Provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
Pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Work in any position of the Processing department, which may involve using a knife and hook to bone out or trim pieces of product, or using powered equipment such as saws, whizard knives, or skinner machines.
Work in the packaging department, which involves bagging and boxing product.
Work in any position of the Harvest department, which may involve using a knife and hook to remove the hide from cattle, trim large pieces of product, or using powered equipment such as saws or air knives.
Operate heavy pieces of equipment in the Harvest department.
Complete all required training for the job.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
