About The Position

General Labor is used in all stages of the fabricating process to load, seam, unload and inspect glass at various workstations. This position is trained in proper glass handling; proper loading technique on various conveyor systems and basic customer requirements used to evaluate the glass product. This position is assigned a given process daily and that changes regularly. Paragon Tempered Glass, LLC, is a specialty fabricator offering custom glass solutions to numerous markets from two U.S.-based facilities. Products include both flat and bent tempered glass to meet demanding expectations of strength, thermal and aesthetic quality. As an innovative glass fabricator, we’re recognized for quality problem-solving and on-time performance across both small, custom lots and large production runs. Requirements

  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Operate with a sense of positive energy and urgency.
  • Able to adapt to the company’s culture, work safely, and possess a positive attitude.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Must successfully complete any training necessary to perform tasks.
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division); must be able to understand scales of measurement.
  • Must comply with all safety rules and regulations, as well as promote safety awareness.
  • Willingness and ability to function within, maintain, and respect an environment of confidentiality.
  • Must comply with established work rules and applicable Paragon Tempered Glass, LLC policies and procedures.

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Report to work on a regular basis on time with positive attitude.
  • Follow the instruction of the supervisor to perform the job task assigned.
  • Understands the operation of the machinery and job tasks on the production line.
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure your performance follows our quality standards.
