If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery-Packing - 3rd Shift (Grandi Remix Inspector) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As a General Labor, Bakery-Packing - 3rd Shift – (Grandi Remix Inspector), you will be accountable for inspecting products rejected by automated vision systems, verifying product quality, supporting food safety standards, and ensuring only compliant products are repackaged for distribution. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, minimizing waste, and supporting efficient bakery operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math and timekeeping skills with the ability to make logical decisions and follow established procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team and independent work environments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds and frequently carry items weighing more than 20 pounds.
  • Ability to handle frozen products and perform frequent head, neck, hand, and wrist movements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Experience performing quality inspections or product evaluation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience training or assisting new employees in production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect rejected finished products to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Repackage approved products and ensure proper handling of materials throughout the process.
  • Remove, sort, and document non-conforming products to support waste accountability and quality reporting.
  • Communicate production, maintenance, sanitation, and quality concerns to appropriate teams to support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment while adhering to GMPs and safety procedures.
  • Support production goals through teamwork, training, problem-solving, and effective shift-to-shift communication.
  • Assist with equipment operation, production changeovers, and other production activities as assigned.
