About The Position

Tixr is seeking a social media-savvy marketing intern to enhance their content, social, and brand presence, with a particular focus on improving their Instagram presence. The ideal candidate is a strong thinker, writer, and organizer, excited about content marketing, social platforms, AI tools, and taking ownership of projects. This internship offers real-world experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Student or recent grad
Organized and detail-oriented
Genuinely excited about marketing
Genuinely online: spend real time on social platforms, with an active personal Instagram, and have a natural feel for what performs and why
Full of opinions on content, trends, and formats, and comfortable pitching them
Genuinely into live events, whether that's music, sports, or culture
Strong writer who can help with blog ideas, newsletter content, and other marketing copy
Comfortable holding a few workstreams at once
Fluent in AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI) or excited to learn
Comfortable capturing content in the field: photos, video, quick interviews at live events
Based in LA, able to work on-site part time

Responsibilities

Set the direction for Instagram: pitch new content formats, series, and channels
Source and evaluate video content, and decide which clients and events to spotlight
Brief the design team with strong creative direction, from concept through final cut
Manage day-to-day publishing across Instagram and LinkedIn: content calendar, scheduling, and caption copy
Attend Tixr-powered events to capture original photo, video, and interview content
Help research, outline, and support blog posts
Support the monthly newsletter, from content ideas to asset coordination
Support sponsorship activations: design requests, asset tracking, client coordination
