About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen in La Crosse, WI is seeking a general internist to join its established and growing group. This is a purely ambulatory position with a Monday through Friday daytime schedule, meaning there are no inpatient responsibilities as hospitalized patients are cared for by dedicated hospitalist and inpatient medical services. There is minimal at-home call with no overnight coverage responsibilities. Emplify Health is an award-winning, physician-led, multispecialty group practice that utilizes the Epic EMR system. Residency training programs foster a collegial environment, and all physicians are employed with a competitive compensation and benefit package. La Crosse, Wisconsin, is a scenic city nestled between bluffs and the Mississippi River, serving as a regional hub for technology and medicine, and is home to three colleges.
Requirements
- Completed an accredited graduate medical training program.
- Board certified or eligible in General Internal Medicine.
- Must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in the multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.
Responsibilities
- Provide purely ambulatory care.
- Supervise advanced practice clinicians.
- Potentially provide outreach services.
- Teach students, residents, fellows, or clinical staff.
