About The Position

This role involves various physical tasks in a bakery production environment. The General Helper will be responsible for loading ovens, filling racks, moving racks and carts, and loading/unloading pans. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-heat environment and adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Teamwork, following instructions, and safe work practices are essential.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Capable of working in high heat environment.
• Willingness to learn food safety and sanitation.
• Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of following safe work practices.
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment.
• Must complete post offer background check, post offer physical, drug/alcohol screen and lifting assessment.

Responsibilities

• Load the oven
• Fill bakery racks with bread/bun pans
• Physically move bread/bun racks in and out of proof box
• Physically push/pull pan carts over to bread/bun conveyor
• Load and unload empty pans both on and off conveyor
• Other duties as assigned
