General Handyman / Warehouse
About The Position
A full-time General Handyman Candidate for our Maintenance Department. This will be strictly a Long-Term Temp position. Hours: 6:00AM–4:00PM (or until finished). Must be flexible with overtime and willing to stay late when necessary. The pay rate range will be $20.00/hr. to $22.00hr. based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for a general handyman with flexible working hours. At the beginning, while on training, the working hours will vary from 6:00am-4:00pm or until the work is done; after training, the hours may change. Candidate must have the experience & ability to do general construction work, including but not limited to painting, drywall, flooring, snow removal, and any other miscellaneous repairs. Must have a wide range of skills and experience on Maintenance and Repairs of Offices & Warehouse Facilities; Install/repair/replace warehouse racks; (Any additional interior & exterior maintenance/repairs work). Should have experience with using equipment, power/electric tools, hand tools. Should have a valid driver’s license and own transportation for commuting purposes. (Won’t be driving a Company’s vehicle). Will be very helpful as well if they have experience and are certified to drive a Sit-down Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack. This will be a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Experience and ability to do general construction work.
- Experience in maintenance and repairs of offices & warehouse facilities.
- Experience installing, repairing, and replacing warehouse racks.
- Experience using equipment, power/electric tools, and hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Own transportation for commuting purposes.
Nice To Haves
- Experience and certification to drive a Sit-down Forklift.
- Experience and certification to drive an Electric Pallet Jack.
