Ledcor is seeking an experienced Carpenter leader for a major industrial expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial construction environment preferred
• Journeyperson Carpenter
• Strong carpentry and concrete formwork background with knowledge of industrial construction and related trades
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Valid driver's license and clean abstract required

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of Carpenters, Concrete Finishers / Masons and Labourers
• Interface with the client and other contractors on site
• Ensure site safety by maintaining a hazard-free environment and enforcing compliance with Ledcor’s health, safety, and environmental standards
• Coordinate work activities with the client, contractors, and other Forepersons to ensure smooth project execution
• Plan and manage resources, equipment, and labour to keep operations efficient
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately
• Monitor project schedules to ensure work is completed within regular hours and meets deadlines
• Resolve on-site challenges and proactively manage work sequencing
