About The Position
Shirley Contracting is seeking a General Foreman to supervise and manage crews, coordinate with the Project Management Team, and perform operations to meet job cost, schedule, and production goals. This role requires ensuring the company's health and safety culture, policies, and requirements are met, establishing positive working relationships, and managing material and equipment needs. The General Foreman is also responsible for completing all required paperwork in a timely manner and performing all related tasks to support projects.
Requirements
- Supervise and manage individuals.
- Read plans and have a working knowledge of standards and specifications.
- Able to organize, plan and schedule work.
- Ability to communicate with employees, venders, inspectors, owners’ reps.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full time basis.
