About The Position

Performance Contracting is seeking a General Foreman for its PCI Knoxville 144 operations based in Knoxville, TN. This individual will be responsible for overall crew safety, performance, productivity, and work quality for assigned projects. They will collaborate with the superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution, and closeout. The role involves using look-ahead schedules, manpower forecasts, and project specifications to optimize the scheduling of materials, manpower, and crew mix. The General Foreman will systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximum productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance, and workplace safety. They will also create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co-workers, and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency, and convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of the branch and corporation. The use of available technology to perform job tasks efficiently is expected. This position is safety-sensitive and offers on-the-job training, including recruiting, training, and assisting with building a strong workforce.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor on a construction jobsite
Experience working interior services such as Drywall, Framing, Insulated Metal Panels, Interior/Exterior walls, Specialty Panels, Clean Rooms, etc.
Must have a track record of successfully performing supervisory responsibilities
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Ability to perform basic math
Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
Physically able to perform assigned tasks
Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
Travel within the southeast region
Ability to interpret, read and understand drawings and details related to interior systems/insulated metal panels
