About The Position
Creative Dining Services is seeking a Part Time General Food Service Worker at MSUFCU in East Lansing, MI. This role involves performing a wide range of duties related to preparing and serving food and beverages in various food service environments. Responsibilities may include assisting with setup and service, managing garbage and trash collection, serving customers, and performing cashiering duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Basic reading and math skills
- Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) used by guests who typically visit the work location
Responsibilities
- Set up breakfast bar and salad bar facilities
- Front of House cleaning and stocking
- Cashiering
- Coffee shop operations
- Prepare for and/or assist with Catering events
- Prep and Serve food items to customers from counters and/or steam tables
- Assist with dishwashing
- Crosstrain on all stations
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
