About The Position
Entry level for all new employees with little or no manufacturing experience.
Requirements
- High level of mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Verbal and written communication in English.
- Read blueprints, both English and metric.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
- Knowledge of labor cards, routing and move ticket.
- Knowledge of Company policies, shop and safety rules.
- Basic knowledge on the care and use of inspection devices; tape measure, combination square, protractor, caliper, etc.
- Basic math skills.
- As required, ability to perform repetitive bending, kneeling, and lift cumbersome and or heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Responsibilities
- Perform basic manufacturing and assembly functions in Production departments as assigned.
- Work under instruction of Supervisor or Department Assistant.
- Train for additional responsibilities.
- Adhere to basic housekeeping; i.e., wood, scrap metal, garbage, liquid spills.
- Comply with all health and safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Department Assistant.
