General Factory - Seasonal Summer Work
About The Position
Capitol Aluminum & Glass Corp. is seeking an individual to work seasonally during summer months (June-August) in our manufacturing plant. Plant operations are first shift only (hours 7:00AM-3:30PM with potential overtime up to 10-hour days – 6:00AM-4:30PM). Capitol Aluminum & Glass Corp. is a successful family-run and owned business for 70 years. It is an architectural aluminum products fabricator and installer; continuously serving the Ohio and surrounding states’ commercial and institutional construction market. Capitol provides a wide range of aluminum products, including architectural windows, doors, storefronts, and curtainwall systems. Capitol delivers a total project resource to our customers by providing high quality, energy efficient building products.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Operating equipment, such as drill presses, chop saws, and various hand and power tools – such as screw guns and tape measure
- Ability to count and problem-solve accurately
- Work well individually and with co-workers and understand team concepts
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Follow established work and safety rules
- Demonstrate regular, consistent attendance
- Other tasks, as required, such as material handling.
