About The Position

This position may perform various duties including but not limited to: material handling, parts washing, forklift operation, and welding. The role involves maintaining a clean and orderly work area, setting up and operating equipment such as a Butt Welder, Wire Drum, Straightener, and other industrial equipment. Responsibilities also include performing first piece inspection, monitoring the quality of all parts, making adjustments to maintain quality standards, and sorting and inspecting manufactured parts. The individual will perform duties required for necessary documentation, move material by operating a forklift or using non-motorized devices when necessary, assist other operators, suggest process improvement ideas, and perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and practices, is required.

Requirements

• Ability to use all gauges and gauging techniques required.
• Ability to consistently meet production and quality standards.
• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of all required operator documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems.
• Use math skills for blueprint reading and SPC.
• Demonstrate the understanding of the manufacturing process and machine requirements to perform basic and repetitive work assignments.
• Provide written communication as needed.
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and practices.
