About The Position

An Equipment Operator fulfills warehouse orders using warehousing equipment such as powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet drivers. The role may also support the team on the warehouse floor to help process customer orders efficiently. Equipment Operators work as team players, using organizational and communication skills and maintaining a positive attitude. The position is located at 11681 State Ave, Kansas City, Kansas, 66111, United States. The scheduled shift is Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
Be able to operate department-specific technology, such as RF scanners, desktop computers, and touchscreens.
Maintain acceptable attendance and be able to work overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or GED.
Warehousing or manufacturing experience.
Forklift or heavy machinery experience.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety and compliance standards while performing duties and operating warehouse equipment.
Work respectfully in a team environment and independently as needed.
Manage multiple tasks and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
Operate department-specific technology, such as RF scanners, desktop computers, or touchscreens, to track product locations and complete job tasks.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by operational leadership.
