About The Position

This General Engineer position is part of the Department of Defense Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). The incumbent serves as the paramount technical authority at the Operations Center and acts as the primary proxy for the SDA HQ Mission Operations Chief Engineer, providing authoritative technical advice to flag-level leadership, management, and peer engineering teams. The incumbent has final technical validation authority over engineering data packages affecting the Operations Center, including as-built drawings, Interface Control Documents, Software Version Descriptions, and Standard Operating Procedures. The position is full-time, has a flexible tour of duty, and is situational telework eligible. Occasional overtime may be required.
