About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented General Engineer- Facilities/Utility Systems to join our team! In this role you will provide task unique, functional expertise necessary to interpret requirements, ensure responsiveness, and achieve successful performance The Air Force Mission Assurance Assessment Team requires highly specialized technical, analytical, and investigative support services to develop and conduct comprehensive assessments of an Installation and/or Facility critical infrastructure and utility infrastructure. What You'll Be Doing: Conducting thorough vulnerability assessments across various infrastructure elements, such as water, wastewater, electricity, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), petroleum products, fire protection systems, generators, and natural gas systems. Performing structural engineering vulnerability assessments that address perimeter security, Access Control Points, facility standoff, and overall facility protection, aligning with the Mission Assurance Program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in facilities and utility systems
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Department of Defense (DoD) and United States Air Force (USAF) built infrastructure, including an in-depth understanding of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs) and the application of the DoD Mission Assurance Benchmarks for Supporting Infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of USAF Civil Engineering governance, programming, and processes.
  • Understand how to conduct 1) Pre-Assessment Phase activities (e.g., Mission Analysis and Pre-Site Survey (PSS) work); 2) Assessment Phase activities to include onsite vulnerability and risk assessments; and 3) Post-Assessment Phase activities (e.g., Post Analysis, Report Writing, and MAJCOM follow-up, etc.).
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% CONUS & OCONUS
  • Must have a Valid US Passport
  • Must have Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to conduct assessments at a variety of military installations.
  • Be able to provide specific SME assistance to Technical Support Projects (TSPs)
