About The Position

Technologist Inc. is seeking an experienced General Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) to support our work at Cheyenne Mountain SFS. Hours of support are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Engineers will be expected to manage up to 30 project requirements per month across all positions: to include developing project acquisition packages and oversight of active projects. Provide construction oversight as necessary to ensure compliance with Statement of Work, design drawings and applicable code requirements, and provide feedback to the government.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.
At least five (5) years’ experience as a facility design engineer or construction project manager.
At least five (5) years’ experience utilizing all facets of Microsoft Office applications.
At least some familiarity with AutoCAD.
Must be eligible for a Secret level clearance.

Nice To Haves

Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, a comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques to support complex engineering assignments.

Responsibilities

Work with customers to define project requirements, prepare cost estimates, and draft statements of work and other components of the acquisition package for government approval and submission.
Manage up to 30 project requirements per month across all positions: to include developing project acquisition packages and oversight of active projects.
Coordinate with other governmental personnel, as necessary, to define project requirements, ensure compliance with Federal, State, local and Air/Space Force regulations.
Provide construction oversight as necessary to ensure compliance with Statement of Work, design drawings and applicable code requirements, and provide feedback to the government.
