About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a 5th Grade General Education Teacher to support students in Center, CO. Requirements

Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with appropriate elementary education endorsement
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for helping students succeed academically and personally
Ability to create engaging, inclusive learning environments

School-based teaching experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging 5th grade instruction aligned with Colorado academic standards
Create lesson plans that support diverse learning styles, academic needs, and student interests
Differentiate instruction to promote student success across all ability levels
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback and progress reports
Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages learning, respect, and collaboration
Build strong relationships with students, families, and school staff
Collaborate with administrators, colleagues, and support staff to support student achievement
Maintain accurate records, attendance, and required documentation
Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school initiatives
