General Duty Cleaner
About The Position
Commercial Cleaning Services (CCS) is a fast-growing and innovative company that provides professional cleaning services. They use industry-leading training programs, environmentally friendly cleaning products and practices, and are committed to quality and customer service. CCS staff work in various locations such as schools, office buildings, and retail sites to create cleaner, healthier spaces in communities across Provinces. This specific position is for a Floater, with a schedule of Monday to Thursday from 4:30pm to 12:30am, and Sundays from 8:30 am to 4:30pm. The starting wage is $18.50 to $19.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Passion for customer service
- Keen eye for detail
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills
- Police Background Check
- Lift up to 30 lbs
- Stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift
- Able to bend, stretch, lift, pull and carry, climb stairs
- Legally authorized to work in Canada, without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Provide complete janitorial services by dusting, mopping and sweeping floors and surfaces
- Keep our clients’ facilities safe and healthy by sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces
- Collect and dispose of waste
- Clean common areas, entrances, stairwells and restrooms
- Learn industry-leading cleaning techniques to achieve consistently high-quality results
- Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing customers’ unique needs
