About The Position

Integrated Dermatology of Enfield-Simsbury, a practice with Integrated Dermatology, is seeking a General Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider to join its established dermatology team in Enfield, Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is passionate about delivering high-quality medical dermatology care in a collaborative, patient-centered setting. The ideal APP will be comfortable managing a full spectrum of general dermatology needs, including routine skin exams, suspicious lesion evaluation, inflammatory skin disease, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hair and nail concerns, patient education, medication management, and coordination of follow-up care. This role is well suited for a provider who enjoys a steady clinical pace, values continuity of care, and wants to help expand dermatology access for patients in Enfield and surrounding communities.

Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current national certification and an active or eligible Connecticut license.
  • Comfort evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients across a broad range of dermatologic concerns, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, rosacea, benign lesions, and skin cancer screenings.

Nice To Haves

  • Dermatology experience preferred but not required; candidates with strong clinical judgment, a passion for dermatology, and a willingness to learn will be considered.
  • Prior experience in medical dermatology, primary care, urgent care, family medicine, internal medicine, or another patient-facing clinical specialty is helpful.
  • Interest in performing or learning common dermatology procedures, including shave and punch biopsies, cryotherapy, intralesional injections, and minor excisions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general dermatology services, including evaluation and treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, rosacea, benign lesions, skin cancer screenings, and other common dermatologic conditions.
  • Collaborate with dermatologists and experienced clinical staff in a welcoming, professional setting.
  • Manage a full spectrum of general dermatology needs, including routine skin exams, suspicious lesion evaluation, inflammatory skin disease, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hair and nail concerns, patient education, medication management, and coordination of follow-up care.
  • Perform or learn common dermatology procedures, including shave and punch biopsies, cryotherapy, intralesional injections, and minor excisions.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with supervising physicians, clinical staff, and administrative team members.
  • Maintain strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and commitment to timely, high-quality patient care.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills, professional bedside manner, and a compassionate, patient-first approach.
