We are currently seeking a BC/BE Dermatologist to join our growing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Dermatology
Current or eligible North Carolina medical license
Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
Completion of internship and dermatology residency training
Strong procedural and clinical dermatology skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Proficiency with EMR systems

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions, from common concerns such as acne and sunburn to more complex conditions including skin cancers such as melanoma
Evaluate patients’ skin, hair, and nail conditions while considering full medical history
Develop and implement appropriate, evidence-based treatment plans
Prescribe medications and perform in-office dermatologic procedures as appropriate
Perform skin screenings, biopsies, and related diagnostic procedures
Monitor treatment progress and adjust care plans as needed
Educate patients on preventive skin care and treatment options
Refer patients to other specialists when appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Athena EMR
Stay current with advancements in dermatology
