Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from an accredited dental education program.
Active Maryland dentist license or eligibility to obtain Maryland dental licensure.
Ability to provide safe, ethical, and patient-centered general dentistry services.
Commitment to serving patients and the community with compassion and clinical excellence.
Ability to evaluate oral health conditions and develop appropriate treatment recommendations.
Ability to educate patients regarding oral health, preventive care, diagnoses, and treatment options.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive general dentistry services within the dentist's education, training, licensure, and clinical scope.
Evaluate patients' oral health and identify appropriate treatment needs.
Develop individualized treatment recommendations based on clinical findings and patient needs.
Educate patients regarding their oral health, diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
Help patients make informed decisions regarding recommended dental treatment.
Consistently recommend care that is in the patient's best interest.
Communicate confidently, clearly, and compassionately with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Build patient trust through honesty, empathy, professionalism, and dependable follow-through.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
