About The Position
School Smiles On-Site Dental is seeking a Part-Time General Dentist to join their growing MI team. This position is 1-2 days per week, scheduled to start in the spring of 2026, with approximate hours from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The role is based in the Lansing, MI area and involves providing portable dental services to children at local schools. All supplies, equipment, and support staff are provided. This opportunity is ideal for a dentist seeking a low-stress, non-private practice setting. A $2000-$4000 Sign-On-Bonus is available. Compensation is 32% of billed production for days working in schools, with travel reimbursement. There are no weekend or evening hours. Requirements
- Proficiency in all listed duties (screenings, oral exams, treatment plans, fluoride treatments, sealants, prophys, fillings, simple extractions)
- Active Michigan Dental License
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
- Must be Medicaid Certified or willing to become certified
- Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius
