About The Position
Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a General Dentist with a strong interest in treating children and families to join their growing San Antonio team. This role offers the opportunity to focus on providing excellent care to a high volume of patients, particularly children and families, without the need to build a patient base. The mission of Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is to provide high-quality, affordable dental care to communities in need. Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active Texas dental license or ability to obtain one
- Comfortable treating children and working with parents and families
- Strong clinical skills and patient-first mindset
- Excellent communication and bedside manner
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Strong interest or experience in pediatric dentistry is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to children, adolescents, and adults
- Perform pediatric preventive and restorative procedures
- Conduct exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Provide general dentistry procedures including restorative care, extractions, and preventive treatment
- Educate children and parents on oral health and treatment options
- Create a positive, comfortable dental experience for young patients
- Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and specialists to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold clinical standards
- Treat a strong and growing population of pediatric patients
- Provide preventive, restorative, and comprehensive dental care for children
- Build lasting relationships with young patients and their families
- Educate parents and children on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Work alongside experienced dental assistants, hygienists, and specialists
