About The Position

Raio Dental is seeking a Spanish-Speaking General Dentist to join our Long Island team in a full-time role split between our Hempstead and Plainview locations. This position is ideal for a provider looking for an established patient base, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to practice comprehensive dentistry across two nearby offices. The Hempstead practice serves a diverse PPO and Medicaid patient population. Spanish fluency and previous Medicaid experience are required for this location.

Requirements

DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Active Dental License in New York
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
DEA Registration (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and patient education skills
Commitment to quality patient care
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Experience practicing in Medicaid environments

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including restorative and preventive care
Diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans
Perform procedures such as restorations, extractions, and endodontic treatment based on experience and clinical comfort
Manage emergency dental needs
Educate patients regarding treatment options and oral health
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams across both practices
Communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking patients at the Hempstead location
