Requirements

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Active Mississippi dental license in good standing, or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to quality patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A dependable, professional approach and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide preventive and restorative care, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions within clinical experience and scope of practice.
Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care so patients can make informed decisions.
Coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate.
Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to deliver efficient, attentive care.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical records.
Follow applicable infection control, safety, privacy, and professional standards.
