About The Position

Mid America Health is seeking a part-time general dentist to work in the Kentucky Department of Corrections in the LaGrange, Kentucky area. The position is scheduled for 8–16 hours per week, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with flexible days. The dentist will primarily provide screenings, examinations, extractions, and fillings in a non-private-practice setting. The facilities do not provide orthodontics, endodontics, crown and bridge, or complex oral surgery. The role offers $80 per hour, a 401(k), and daytime hours with no late nights or weekends. Requirements

• Current Kentucky dental license.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
• Perform screenings and dental examinations.
• Provide fillings and extractions.
• Care for patients at a Kentucky Department of Corrections facility.
