About The Position

Dr. Dental is seeking a full-time General Dentist for its established practice in Central Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. The role requires at least two years of experience and offers clinical autonomy, experienced support teams, and an established flow of new patients. The dentist provides quality, comprehensive care to patients of all ages and joins a collaborative network of dental professionals focused on affordable, convenient, and comfortable dentistry. Daily work may include restorations, crown and bridge procedures, core build-ups, extractions, dentures, root canals, oral surgery, and comprehensive treatment planning. The dentist can focus on patient care while Dr. Dental handles the practice’s operational and administrative aspects, with support from skilled office staff.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide dental services to patients of all ages.
Perform dental examinations and provide general and emergency dental care.
Provide regular cleanings, scaling, and prophylaxis.
Perform scaling and root planing (deep cleaning).
Advise patients on preventative dental care and the causes and treatment of dental problems.
Diagnose and treat oral diseases and injuries using dental instruments.
Diagnose conditions from X-rays.
Conduct oral cancer screenings.
Perform amalgam and composite restorations.
Place fillings and perform pit and fissure sealants.
Perform socket preservation, extractions, and minor oral surgeries.
Perform root canals, including on anterior teeth, premolars, and molars.
Prepare and deliver crowns, bridges, and veneers.
Construct full and partial dentures.
Provide comprehensive treatment plans and quality patient care.
