About The Position

Open Door Community Health Centers is seeking a General Dentist to join their integrated care team at the Burre Dental Center in Eureka, California. This outpatient practice offers a strong work-life balance, flexible scheduling, and no hospital call. The role involves practicing the full scope of general dentistry for all ages, providing preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and urgent dental care. Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of an accredited General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program preferred.
  • Two to five years of clinical experience preferred, particularly in community health, public health, rural practice, or caring for underserved populations.
  • Current, unrestricted California dental license.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an accredited General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program.
  • Clinical experience, particularly in community health, public health, rural practice, or caring for underserved populations.
