About The Position
Open Door Community Health Centers is seeking a General Dentist to join their integrated care team at the Burre Dental Center in Eureka, California. This outpatient practice offers a strong work-life balance, flexible scheduling, and no hospital call. The role involves practicing the full scope of general dentistry for all ages, providing preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and urgent dental care. The dentist will work with interdisciplinary colleagues to address factors impacting oral health and improve access to quality dental care in a community-focused setting. Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program preferred.
- Two to five years of clinical experience preferred, particularly in community health, public health, rural practice, or caring for underserved populations.
- Current, unrestricted California dental license.
- Current DEA registration.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record.

- Clinical experience, particularly in community health, public health, rural practice, or caring for underserved populations.
Responsibilities
- Practice the full scope of general dentistry to all ages.
