About The Position

New York Family Dentistry is seeking an outstanding General Dentist with Oral Surgery experience to join their dynamic team. Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Completion of an accredited dental residency program
• Active New York State Dental License
• Proficiency in a wide range of oral surgical procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of general dental procedures including gum therapy & soft tissue regeneration, root canals, crown & bridge, dentures, implant restorations, while utilizing oral surgery skills for surgical extractions & impacted wisdom teeth, bone grafting & ridge augmentation, sinus closure & lift, multi implant placement, and IV sedation.
• Administer sedation for surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with other providers and specialists to develop treatment plans for complex cases.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up.
• Stay compliant and current with advancements in oral surgery techniques and technologies, attending relevant continuing education programs.
