About The Position
Excel Dental is seeking an enthusiastic Associate General Dentist for its established, high-tech family dental practice. The office is located in a busy area and serves a large existing patient base as well as many new patients. The dentist provides general and cosmetic dentistry and is responsible for the clinical patient experience, from the initial examination and treatment plan through delivery of care. The practice emphasizes quality, service, patient satisfaction, and comprehensive full-service dentistry. The position offers compensation averaging $250,000 or more, paid on true collections. The practice provides clinical autonomy, a flexible schedule, mentorship for new dentists, continuing education courses, and a partnership opportunity. The facility is equipped with modern dental technology and implant and endodontic equipment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a general dentist is preferred.
- Massachusetts dental license or eligibility for one.
- DDS or DMD degree.
- Massachusetts DEA registration.
- Federal DEA registration.
- CPR certification.
- OSHA and HIPAA knowledge or compliance.

Responsibilities
- Provide dental services to patients of all ages.
- Provide implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and emergency dental care.
- Perform periodontal care and scaling and root planing (SRP).
- Perform extractions, socket preservation, and minor oral surgeries.
- Perform root canals on anterior teeth, premolars, and molars.
- Prepare and deliver crowns, bridges, and veneers.
- Construct full and partial dentures.
- Manage the clinical patient experience from initial examination and treatment planning through delivery of care.
