General Dentist- Focused on Pediatrics
About The Position
West Coast Dental is hiring a General Dentist focused primarily on treating children. The dentist will provide excellent patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience as part of a collaborative clinical and administrative team. The position offers guaranteed daily compensation or high commission, with a $5,000 signing bonus. The organization describes its compensation as a guaranteed base plus a percentage of production and provides a steady flow of patients across a diverse range of payor types. West Coast Dental has served Southern California for more than 30 years and operates over 45 offices across greater Los Angeles, Orange County, the Inland Empire, and Northern San Diego, including its affiliate Magicland Children’s Dental. Its offices provide general, specialty, and orthodontic services. Doctors are supported by modern offices, clinical and administrative staff, regulatory and facility compliance, and company-sponsored continuing education. Full-time or part-time work is available.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree.
- Active California State Dental Board license.
- Nitrous sedation certification.
- Active malpractice insurance.
- DEA registration, CPR, and NPI are required.
- Professional willingness to treat children primarily.
- Passion for providing excellent care and contributing to a team-focused patient experience.
- Excellent and cheerful chairside demeanor.
- Commitment to providing excellent and productive patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Oral Conscious Sedation Certification; preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Build trust with patients and promote an optimal patient experience.
- Collaborate with the office team to foster trust and positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Understand PPO, HMO, and other dental plans to help optimize patient benefits.
- Proactively address patient concerns and provide insight and comfort regarding dental treatment.
