About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a General Counsel to join our team! General Counsel will serve as a key legal advisor on healthcare-specific regulations as well as patient care issues and will manage and coordinate the defense of medical malpractice lawsuits, general liability claims, and patient complaints from inception to resolution.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key legal advisor on healthcare-specific regulations and patient care issues.
• Manage and coordinate the defense of medical malpractice lawsuits, general liability claims, and patient complaints from inception to resolution.
• Handle day-to-day corporate legal activities internally.
• Coordinate with outside law firms for specialized litigation or corporate activities.
• Perform other legally related duties, special projects, and corporate initiatives as assigned.
