About The Position

Honeywell is seeking a General Counsel, Government Contracts & Cybersecurity to lead enterprise legal strategy for government contracts, cybersecurity, product security, incident response, and related regulatory compliance across Honeywell Technologies. This leadership role advises on U.S. government contract regulations, including FAR, DFARS, DPAS, domestic sourcing requirements, contract negotiations, risk management, and compliance. The role partners with the CISO, CTO, engineering, IT, product security, and commercial teams to embed legal guidance into product development, incident response, and business operations. The role has significant influence on legal and business strategy and manages a Government Contracts Analyst. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one state.
  • Significant experience in government contracts law, including FAR, DFARS, DPAS, and domestic sourcing requirements.
  • Experience with cybersecurity regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in product security and incident response.
  • Strong negotiation and risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in a large, complex, publicly traded company.
  • Experience with data privacy regulations.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in the aerospace, defense, or technology sectors.
