About The Position

TLC Construction is looking for a General Construction Team Member to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to be involved in projects from breaking ground to final state certification. TLC Construction is a trusted nursing home contractor for the State of Indiana and is expanding its construction team. The position offers a 4-day work week, full benefits, company-provided transportation, and paid out-of-town expenses when travel is necessary. The work involves maintenance, new construction, and renovations, supporting healthcare communities and improving the lives of elders.

Requirements

• Must be able to satisfy state guidelines, including a clean criminal background check and drug screen.
• State law prohibits the hiring of individuals with a felony conviction within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with new construction and renovation projects from start to finish.
• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, furnishings, and property.
• Working with a tight-knit crew that values safety, quality, and accountability.
• Ensuring all work meets Life Safety and Fire Code requirements.
• Helping maintain clean, safe, and efficient job sites.
