Responsibilities

  • Direct daily work across scope of the job, coordinating temporary works, access, laydown, traffic control, and public interface on constrained urban sites.
  • Build and maintain short‑interval and look‑ahead plans aligned to the master schedule; drive constraint removal, productivity recovery, and phase turnover readiness.
  • Optimize deliveries, hoisting, staging, and just‑in‑time material flow; manage crane strategy, road closures, and event/operations interfaces.
  • Enforce QA/QC, ITPs, and mock‑ups; lead punch list and deficiency closure; coordinate start‑up, commissioning, and system turnovers.

  • Coordinate with owner reps, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), utilities, concessions/tenants, and operations teams to protect public safety and minimize disruption.
  • Mentor superintendents and field engineers; set clear expectations with trade partners; run daily huddles, weekly coordination, and visual management routines.
  • Ensure adherence to codes, permits, and environmental requirements; maintain documentation and as‑builts for closeout.
