About The Position

The service technician/Installer will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of both Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy and customer equipment including but not limited to the following: power wheelchairs, scooters, stair lifts, vehicle lifts, ramps, platform elevators, and bathroom safety modifications.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, Diagnose, repair and service product and equipment
  • Perform inspection and preventive measure on all company equipment
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of any changes to the products Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy offers or services
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner: work orders, receipts, etc.
  • Partner with management to develop and implement new programs to enhance sales and marketing
  • Transport supplies and equipment as needed
  • Attend vendor certification and training for maintenance, repair, and installation guidelines
  • Train and coach all DME associates on product and services provided
  • Respond to maintenance, repair, and installation equipment within 24 hours (end of next business day).
  • Provide consultation services to patients in regards to home and vehicle accessibility options
  • Provide measurements, quotes, orders, and invoices to support/substantiate consultation
  • Schedule and prepare supplies needed for installations
  • Install home modifications including, but not limited to ramps, grab bars, bath tub modifications.
  • Install vehicle modifications including, but not limited to wheelchair ramps and lifts, and patient lift systems
  • Maintain neat and clean installation vehicle at all times
  • Performs duties as requested by the Department Supervisor specific to that department.
