About The Position
The General Construction Laborer position involves loading and unloading building materials, demolition, grading, and removing construction site materials. It requires experience and knowledge of basic construction hand tools, as well as tasks like digging and trenching. The role requires completing all assigned tasks, maintaining good communication, and adhering to safety protocols by wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the construction site. Reliability and good attendance are essential.
Requirements
- Basic construction hand tools experience and knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Lift 25 pounds or more
- Good attendance and reliable
- Minimum of 6 months continuous commercial construction work experience with on the job safety training with a licensed commercial contractor
- Able to pass a background check and a drug test
- Must have reliable transportation
